Richard Butler regularly works with witnesses of fact and with expert witnesses to help to prepare them for giving evidence in courts, arbitrations and other tribunals. Experienced in preparing witnesses for international arbitrations with a variety of seats and arbitral tribunals, with and without interpreters, Richard Butler ensures scrupulous adherence to the ethical codes applicable to the lawyers instructing him and to the likely cultural and ethical expectations of the tribunal. A full report of the process followed, with all case study documents used, is supplied to the instructing lawyers.
At present most teaching and witness familiarisation is carried out remotely using the platform required by the client. Richard Butler has a pro Zoom account and can host training and witness familiarisation without time limitations.
